Mickey Kaus's You Tube Campaign is gaining steam, and the Senators that are backing the immigration bill are really feeling the pressure.
At risk is the cloture vote, a motion to close off debate on the bill. Cloture requires 60 votes (because Senators can filibuster), which means that 41 Senators have to vote "no."
Claire McCaskill and Kit Bond have both voted no previously, but there is concern they may vote for cloture, and against the bill, which would be a lame attempt to let the bill pass while claiming they are against it.
Kit Bond made the latest video over on Hot Air. Call your Senators today. It is irresponsible to allow this legislation forward.
Call Kit's offices and tell him you want him to vote no on cloture. 204-224-5721

The lines are jammed. No getting through today.

It boggles my mind that McCaskill can cast a no vote for cloture and Bond cannot. Is Bond back on the sauce? Does he know what this will do to not only our country, but his career?
