Pete Kinder On Fox News Defending Castle Doctrine

Lt Governor Pete Kinder was just on Fox News, answering questions about the Castle Doctrine, which Matt Blunt just signed into law.

The reporter wasn't throwing softballs, that's for sure.  Her first question was about a pizza delivery boy getting shot for entering a house.

Kinder handled the question well, pointing out that a pizza delivery isn't unlawfully entering.  At the same time, you should have a right to protect your property (although it does sound weird to hear people say your car is a castle).

The more important point, of course, is that the MO House passed the  Castle Doctrine (SB 62) 151-6. The controversy over the signing is purely a media creation, as pretty much everyone voted for it.
