Crazy Is As Crazy Does
KC Blue Blog decides that the KoolAid tastes just fine, and demonstrates that simply having a blog doesn't make you a reporter.
Several stories have floated about the MOPNS, some wild - some scandalous, and some, well, just plain poorly reasoned.
The thesis of the Blue Blog is that the editor of MOPNS, Scooter Jackson, is paid by the Swift Boat Vets to support Matt Blunt while writing pro-Republican stories.
1) KC Blue Blog apparently doesn't read MOPNS, because MOPNS doesn't toe the line for Republicans
2) Having your parent's address in Houston doesn't mean that anything that comes from Houston is connected to you.
Merely saying the words "Swift Boat" doesn't scare most voters. In fact, if your man John Kerry had any stones, he would have sued like he said he was going to.
They're still waiting for that court case down in Houston.
In the meantime, keep the KC Blue Blog's post on file. These kind of stories tend to be buried when the truth becomes inconvenient for the KC Blue Blogger. And this kind of analysis is to precious to be kept under wraps.
Remember this. According to high-powered reporting of a prominent liberal blog in Kansas City, the Swift Boats Vets created a fake blog to affect Missouri politics. Just because it's not true doesn't mean it's not worth writing at the KC Blue Blog.
Forget about Big Oil. This is clearly a case for Big Tin Foil.
