Sara Howard, Bertha Lewis, And The Gaspard Brothers

From earlier, we see that Sara Howard was on the personal contact list for Bertha Lewis, the ACORN CEO.  Some further digging shows that yes, the print broker was active and could very well have been the person who printed flyers for ACT, but a clearer connection emerges.

RedState talked about Patrick and Michael Gaspard, who both work for the Advance Group, and are connected through SEIU and the Working Families Party.  The fact that both are on the rolodex to Bertha Lewis ties Gaspard to Lewis, but there's another tie to Sara Howard.

Sara was the spokesperson for ACT (Americans Coming Together).  Patrick Gaspard was the national director for ACT in 2004.  It seems likely that they knew each other then, and from there, Sara was introduced to Bertha Lewis.

To get the full sense of what the plan for the Carnahans will be in 2010, consider that

1) Tony Wyche is the spokesperson for Robin Carnahan's Senate campaign. He's married to

2) Sara Howard, who is now the spokesperson for Russ Carnahan's campaign.  Sara worked at ACT, where she sas in charge of

3) Laura Egerdal, who is now the spokesperson for Robin Carnahan as Secretary of State.  Laura worked in close coordination on the Voter ID astroturf with Julie Terborck of ACORN and

4) Jeff Mazur, who is the embattled aide for Jay Nixon, but a former AFCSME union organizer, who is married to

5) Mindy Mazur, who is running Robin Carnahan's Senate campaign.  Don't forget to add

6) Sean Soendker Nicholson, whose brother in law works for Robin Carnahan as a lawyer, and who is the paid blogger for . 

7) FiredUpMissouri, which publishes official Missouri Secretary of State documents onto its website, which was started by

8) Former Senator Jean Carnahan, who still maintains her PAC to dole out money to her children.

That's quite the connection between SEIU/ACORN/ProVote/AFCSME and the Caranahan family.  Keep that in mind as they began to backtrack on their close connections to these leftwing groups. In Missouri, the politicians aren't just allied with these groups - they staff their campaigns and offices with them.

By the way - don't forget about Ron Berry, also in the Secretary of State's office. Ron worked at Missouri ProVote, yet another in the long list of ACORN affiliated organizations connected to the Carnahan family.
