Russ Carnahan had Nancy Pelosi fly in with other members of Congress for a fundraiser and $2400 private reception at the Chase Park Plaza. While she was in town, some local patriots were able to obtain live footage of the Speaker. She did manage to come up with a few nice words to say about Carnahan, primarily that he does what he is told.
The Republicans have accused Carnahan of being a rubber stamp, which is to say that he votes however Pelosi wants him to vote. This Congressional Quarterly analysis suggests that is true, with Carnahan voting with Pelosi 99% of the time.
To the Speaker, that's considered a good trait in a Democratic Congressmen. Don't take my word for it - watch Nancy talk about Russ, pointing out he is not high maintenance, and he doesn't always have 50 reasons why a bill is bad.
This is what doesn't make sense unless you know Russ. Pelosi says Carnahan is not high maintenance, and the crowd bursts into laughter. They know Russ is just a mindless rubber stamp for her wishes, and they think it's funny. And these are his supporters! Pelosi tries to backpedal, and explain that Carnahan helps other members see the light, but only makes it worse when she states he doesn't ever have problems with the bills. Considering that Carnahan doesn't read the bills he votes on, that might not have been the most politic thing to say.
Remember this:
Russ Carnahan admitted he didn't read the stimulus bill.
Russ Carnahan could not have read the Cap and Trade bill before voting on it.
From the townhalls he did show up to you, Russ clearly didn't understand the healthcare legislation, merely parroting the talking points Pelosi hands him. Remember him being laughed at for saying it saves money?
If Missouri voters wanted Nancy Pelosi to represent them, they got their wish. If they are looking for someone who fights for their rights and interests, its time to start looking elsewhere.
Just keep in mind that the best thing she could say about him was he wasn't high maintenance. In a private room full of Carnahan supporters, she praises him for being her lapdog.
Good boy.

Why are you wasting my donation to the Tea Party by paying $250 to attend a fundraiser with Pelosi and Carnahan??? who is leading this movement?

No one ever said any money was spent on this event. Of course, paying to go see Pelosi would be foolish.

That sounds like a "it depends on what the meaning of 'is' is" answer. You're implying that the videographer didn't pay without actually *saying* that he/she didn't pay. It's a yes or no question: did the person who took this video footage (or anyone associated with him/her) pay to get in to the event?

That's strange - your IP address changed. And your question did to. At first you asked why your donation was used - now you're asking if any money is used and from where. That makes me doubt your honesty.
I also wonder why an anonymous person is popping up on multiple Tea Party blogs asking this same question.
We get lots of tips, video, and stories from people who have attended Tea Party events, and those who support our goals even if they haven't showed.
Up there on the left there's a statement that says tips are verified, and kept confidential. This particular bit of information came from an individual who doesn't want to identified. I don't know how they got in, or what they paid, but no funds from the St Louis Tea Party were used for that event. That was your question and complaint, right?
Now I've sent you an email - so if you're real, respond. If you're fake, well - maybe you're just one of those sad progressives who can't get anyone to listen to them.
