One thing I've learned in blogging is that written allegations have an impact, but some people prefer to see the documents themselves. So we're going to do that. I've alleged that Glenn Burleigh, the head of Missouri ACORN in St Louis and a self-professed communist, was paid to assist Jefferson County Dispatch pass a new tax on emergency 911 services.
Glenn is on the board of POWER, the union subcontracted to do the work for Forefront Organizing. In addition, he helped manage the dialing campaign, and also served as the media contact for the campaign.
Jefferson County Dispatch 911 campaign emails - Burleigh2
In both documents, we see Burleigh involved in the day to day management of the campaign, both for the dialer, and as Mike Dalton, the president of Forefront Organizing says, as the person who decides the "if, when, how, and/or where [they] should do media."
Jefferson County Dispatch hired Forefront Organizing with taxpayer funds to help them pass a new tax. Were they aware that ACORN and SEIU would be doing the actual work? What is the role of Forefront Organizing? Are they actually a company, or do they simply serve as the figurehead to divert attention from the use of taxpayer funds to pay the political arms of SEIU and ACORN to contact Jefferson County voters.
And how do the citizens of Arnold feel about their attorney working hand in hand with a communist to raise $100 million dollars in the teeth of the worst recession we've seen in a generation?

Anyone wonder what "He is aware of the politics at 911 & is prepared to work with you to keep things moving forward" mean? Was there an intentional effort to mislead some of the members of the 911 Board? George Engelbach, best known for dressing as Lincoln as a McCain delegate at the RNC National Convention is on that board. I can only assume that he had no idea these funds were going to SEIU/ACORN/PowerUnion and the Democratic Party. I can only imagine if he did, he would have screamed from the rooftops. Perhaps someone should ask him what he was told about all of this if they have not already done so. Could be both very enlightening and damning all at the same time.
BTW, current County Commissioner Ed Kemp sat on both the Big River Ambulance Board as well as the Jeffco 911 Board. Perhaps there was some collusion between himself and Bob Sweeney to bring these "groups" in?
