You know - I'm really busy here. I don't have time to make more clown movies. I've got stories breaking out the wazoo about Robin Carnahan and her merry band of progressives infesting the state offices.
While 3rd Congressional District's sitting (duck) Congressman has kept off my radar for a while, I figured it was because he keeps running out the back of any public events. Last I heard, he was holding private meetings to talk to supporters behind massive walls and gates, and only deigning to come out when flanked by score or two of union thugs with radical socialist proclivities.
But ol' Rubberstamp Russ Carnahan just can't seem to stay out of trouble.
KMOX has a blistering headline for him.
Carnahan awaits direction on health care reformOuch. Check out the copy:
Congressman Russ Carnahan admits he doesn't know where health care reform stands -- but he'll be watching the State of the Union tonight to find out.
He doesn't rule out trying to slip already-passed reforms through.
So, Carnahan doesn't know what's going on, needs to be told what he's supposed to think, has no concerns about doing as told, and he's perfectly comfortable "slipping" legislation through instead of proudly bringing them to the floor.
Come on. Really? Did Ed Martin put on a Carnahan mask and do this interview? Is this Adam Sharp playing tricks on us? I tell you, Carnahan's aversion to the public and beta-male acquiescence to do whatever he's told to do isn't just outrageous, it's downright painful.
At least Emanuel Cleaver took a stand and now has to figure out how to backtrack. Russ does no such thing. I really wish someone in the Carnahan family would take a stand while they are in office. It's better to lose on your feet than be booted out of office because you groveled at the feet of the Far Left.
Anyone have plans to primary this joker? Please? For the sake of the 3rd District?
Missouri Record's Pat Tuoehy feels the same, and delivers this great line:
Whatever the solution, Missourians can be confident that none of it will originate with Rep Carnahan
