There are a number of people who have written on and been added to 24thstate.com in the past three years. The most recent addition is JeffCoConservative, who will be bringing their perspective from Jefferson County.
This blog is a bit too heavy on St Louis and Jefferson City news, and I am looking for contributors from other parts of the state. If you want to publish news from your county, I can set you up on your own blog, as one Kirkwood mother as done to track her school board. If you want to write for the main blog, send me some writing samples and if your work is solid, and you can cover an area of the state, I'd like to add you.
24thstate is one of the most popular political blogs in Missouri, averaging 200-300 unique visits a day, and read by a wide swath of politicians, media and politically active citizens. It's primary goals are political awareness, good governance, corruption, and transparency in government. While the main author is a Tea Party conservative, good reporting has no political bias.
Authors have the right to post anonymously, but I have to know who they are. I'll reserve the right to edit, delete, and otherwise monitor all blogposts at first, but once you're established, you have the run of the blog. Contact me at editor at 24thstate.com if interested.

Thanks for adding more local authors!
