Headline: McCaskill touts new law on improper payments.
Story:
Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill says a new law that she co-sponsored could help recover billions of dollars of improper federal payments.
...
It’s estimated that federal agencies made around $100 billion of improper payments last year. Those payments range from outright fraud to checks issued to the wrong person or for the wrong amount because of a typo.
I would almost fall for this bit of theatre if I didn't realize that Senator McCaskill has voted for the stimulus programs, Obamacare, and every other measure that increased the size of the government and its expenditures to make this sort of error and fraud possible. A Federal government that spends only two trillion dollars (ca 2005, lo those many years and Democratic-controlled House of Representatives sessions ago) or less (dare to dream!) would not have that much opportunity for graft, errors, or department head increased budget jocketry.
Claire McCaskill may have been state auditor, but she is not a fiscal conservative. Perhaps she hopes that gilding the edges of her record with these sorts of accomplishments will make her more palatable to the resurgent fiscal conservative voters. Hopefully, the voters will read the pages edged with golden paint to know the truth.

Queen Claire is already a burden on society for life at full pay. Just like a politican. Need another law to cure preceeding stupid law. Let's try fours years with the White House, Congress, and Supreme Court boarded up and empty. Now that would be a savings!!!! No action is better than the current assults on our country, economy, and values. Enemy within the perimeter....FIX BAYONETS!!!
