I played around with adding some new writers, even having some write under the Editor login, but it's creating some confusion, so it's better to have people write under their own names.
PM will be taking over the day to day of the site. I'll be adding commentary now and then, when I can't stay away, and the rest of the contributors will do as they see fit. If you have tips, please send them to the new address, pm at 24thstate.com.
If you'd like to write, please submit some samples or if you know me, contact me. I'm still looking for more KC and Columbia and northern writers covering local politics.
As for now, I'm going to take some time off and focus on my family and some business dealings. I'd also like to spend more time thinking about how we do things, and what paths forward make sense.
A Free citizenry must be educated to their birthright. Perhaps I can move my efforts to aid in that endeavor.
If you have an issue, something that requires my particular investigative talents, feel free to email, but know that I'm checking it infrequently. I'll be creating some training for the St Louis Tea Party to help them in their vote fraud and financial investigations, but if you get something juicy, well, I'll stay up late one night.
I'm not leaving the Tea Party or quitting blogging - I'm just shifting focus for a while. Working with the Tea Party has been fulfilling, but I'm often left wondering if I should be plowing my time into building resources instead of the day to day. There were a number of times when a few thousand here or there would have made a big difference and helped alleviate stress on the ad hoc leadership teams, and I'm fortunate enough to be able to provide that money if I'm working and not writing. If St Louis gets the DNC - a couple dozen flip phones will come in handy in and around the city. There won't be a coked up delegate in 20 miles who won't wonder how they lost their career in St Louis. Someone has to fund that equipment purchase.
So no, I'm not quitting or giving up - I'm simply looking to put my talents where Tea Party movements and conservative candidates can best utilize them. Progressivium Delenda Est!
