Jacob Turk has blogged that redistricting has come to a boil here in Missouri. Turk feels that Jefferson City is running roughshod over the interests of voters in the Kansas City area while cherry picking districts in St. Louis:
Somebody give them all this message: redistricting is not supposed to be about legislators picking their voters, it needs to be about voters picking their legislators. Up until just the last few days, there had been zero attention paid to the gross gerrymandering going on in the Jackson County. Even now, we are a small afterthought in this process. Please continue to change that reality by making the calls and sending the emails.
