Excellent synopsis of the bigger picture that has been overshadowed by a narrower vision of "principle." It's time for patriots to understand that the "powers," that have for so long run "establishment" politics, have infiltrated the grassroots movement and are desperately trying to maintain control and they are doing it by mastering "conservative speak." If the people want to maintain or take control of their government, they have to learn to look beneath the pretty packaging and marketing of bad policy. Establishment cleverly understands the value that "presentation is everything" in marketing a bad idea. Prop A is a bad idea. VOTE NO. If you want to fix the problems in St. Louis City, Send Us A Better Plan!

I find it extremely difficult to believe that amongst the organizations listed in this article as supporting Prop. A are some supposedly conservative ones.
That leads me to agree with "Culture Vigilante" that the grassroots activist groups are being infiltrated by the leftists.
Prop A is a bad idea and will lead to control by the demonrats in STL guvmint of the police force. And, as result the control of the pension fund for all sorts of non-pension usage. Not to mention political favoritism in policing certain areas.
Not a good idea.
