When we lived in the City, both my wife and I had jobs in the County. While we did not have to pay a County earnings tax, we had to pay our 1% to St. Louis City for the privilege of living there. Your thoughts give the impression that those still in that leaky boat pay no earnings tax. The earnings tax is a big reason we no longer live in the City.
